I had the opportunity to create a :30 promo for an upcoming virtual conference. The challenge was to create a video promoting EAB’s Education Data Hub, a data management platform built exclusively for higher education. Due to a tight budget and quick turnaround time, we did not have the opportunity to use voice over talent for this piece. Therefore the goal was to create a piece visually engaging to support the messaging of the product.

This was also one of the first opportunities to use EAB’s new branding in an animated video. I wanted to take full advantage of the iconography and illustrations developed for our website and showcase to the firm how we can use those elements in an animation.

My favorite takeaway from this project was learning to create the dynamic web of icons at the beginning. I’ve been challenging myself to try and use expressions in every project, and that opening web was a lot of fun to animate!
