I LOVE to draw.

In college I had a terrible (or subjectively good) habit of doodling during every lecture. Most professors didn’t seem to mind (I was listening, I promise!) As a visual learner, I believe it was beneficial. I once took a history class on central European nations where the tests were always in essay form (gross). I found that I was able to recall many random details because of the doodles I created that were associated with specific events & figures. I passed that class!

I have since graduated a bit from the ink-in-margins masterpieces, and have shifted my focus towards digital illustration. The pieces below were created in either Photoshop, Procreate, or After Effects.

Inktober 2019

A (digital) ink challenge. One drawing created every day during the month of October.

To ink or not to ink? A question I ask myself every year as the #Inktober challenge draws closer. After skipping out on the 2018 challenge, I decided to pick my own theme and go for it!

This year I chose a theme of a House Tour. I really love drawing textures, especially textures found in old houses (wood, brick, tile, etc.) Of course I wanted to include fun creatures to guide the viewers as well.
